AWANA Grand Prix

The AWANA Grand Prix is a fun, family-friendly racing event where clubbers design, decorate, and race their own wooden cars down a specially built track. Each child receives a pinewood car kit to build at home or during our work day. On race night, cars compete in  heats while friends and family cheer from the sidelines!

Grand Prix Work Day – Saturday, November 8
Before the big race, we’ll host a special work day where clubbers can paint, sand, and decorate their Grand Prix cars. It’s always a fun time of creativity and preparation, and a great opportunity for kids and parents to work together.

Grand Prix Race Night – Wednesday, November 12
Get ready for race day! Our annual Grand Prix is one of the most exciting nights of the year. Clubbers will compete with their custom cars in a friendly and high-energy race. Awards will be given for both speed and design.

Reserve Your Car Kit by November 8
Car kits are available at no cost, but must be reserved in advance. Be sure to sign up by Saturday, November 8, to ensure your child has a kit in time for the race.
